Tobey Nelson Events & Design

About

At Tobey Nelson Events and Design, we want to bring beauty and relaxation to you and your wedding guests in an eco-conscious and respectful way.  We begin by listening carefully to what you have in mind, and then work with you to create your vision in a way that works with your budget or spending plan.

We want shopping for flowers to be relaxed and fun.  We have a policy of honesty and flexibility.  Our goal is to make you happy!  We also believe in doing our small part in creating greater good, so all, or as much as possible, of your flowers will be sourced locally or domestically from farmers who employ sustainable agriculture practices.  We never use the formaldehyde-based green floral foam in our designs.  We pay our employees a living wage, and contribute to charity partners such as the NRDC.  We keep it super local by growing lots of our own foliage, fillers and blooms!

Our floral style is bourne out of a lifetime in horticulture.  The special garden elements found in our creations reflect our total obsession with plants and flowers.  Our work is meticulous and detailed and there is a treasure to be noticed in everything we make.  We love to create floral wearables such as hairpieces, necklaces, belts and anything else you can imagine!  We have an inventory of vases, candleholders, easels, chalkboards etc. By renting from us, you can save yourself some money, and at the risk of sounding preachy, you can keep your carbon footprint lower by not contributing to the additional manufacture of goods!

We specialize in Whidbey Island weddings, but we also serve  the greater north Seattle area including and serve Everett, Mukilteo, and Woodinville.  We do not have a minimum; we are equally happy creating a bouquet for a destination elopement as we are making lots of centerpieces for a more elaborate affair.
